do admissions officers rely care wen u send the app. Im asking cuz I fear that Im a bit too late. U see, Im in lov w/ stanford. Thing is, I hear that the officers look at the date of submission and if its too late, theyll say "This guy isnt really interested." So Im askin, do they undrstand that it takes som of us mor time to perfect our essays or do they have a cutoff for show of interest? If the latter, when is that cutoff... in not expecting a specific date, just a guesstimate...

PS im Regular Desicion

??HighLow, if you're RD you havve 2 more months. I can't see why anything other than lack of interest would stop you getting your app in on time.

no, no, no... what I mean is that ive hear that scools like students to send in the app like a week aftr it coms out... it shows their dedication... im just wondering, would a person who sent it in in early november be seen the same as a person who turned it in in late sept?

as long as it is before the deadline, it doesn't matter.

I agree with ngnmm - not something you should worry about. They really don't look at how near to the deadline you sent it in. Besides, I am sure they know that most teenagers are champion procrastinators - at least all the ones I know are!

Stanford doesn't discriminate based on submitted date.

where can i get this info... oficially?... u see my father doesnt really believe me and he thinks the opposite, so he is literally scolding me for not sending it in early... "ur already late"... so I need some solid proof...
and yes, I do want to go to stanford... not because of my father... he actually wants me to go to anothr scool wich i wont mention

I doubt youcan get it officially, since I'm sure admissions is swamped, but by all means email them and ask if that;s the only thing that will stop the argument...

If you choose to e-mail them, I'd recommend using better grammar than you do on this board...
