Just a little something to spruce up the forum. It's a trend I've seen in other message boards to thank a particularly great poster/mod/what-have-you.

Why AdmissionsDaniel?

Because he's that awesome. ;)

Every single question I've had and posted has been answered, and his blog (GO READ IT!) is incredibly comprehensive. I'll wager that almost every one of us in this forum has had some question answered, whether directly or indirectly, by AdmissionsDaniel. Also, look at the other CC college forums. How many even have someone involved around? And posting as often as he does?

Besides, if you've read his blogs, you'd know what I mean by him putting a human aspect to it all. Makes me feel a little better, for some reason - reading gave me the same feeling as when I finally became aware that my teachers were human.

So?

So I think we ought to express our appreciation of his taking time to help us, and his patience in dealing with the same questions again and again. Sure wouldn't want him to leave CC like some of the others I've seen.

Are you sucking up?

You bet! :D

Naw, I'm just thankful, believe it or not.

So, what now?

Well, how 'bout we offer a bit o' thanks to him?

AdmissionsDaniel, if you're reading this, Wiis rock, even with the whole "flying Wii-mote" thing. And of course you've got fans. Dur. Out of curiosity, why is CC "dreaded"?

I love AdmissionsDaniel! WOW! I'm going to send you a box of cookies and some milk when you read my application! haha... But seriously, I have had almost every question answered that most others could not answer. You've been a great help, and I would love to be in the company of you and your fellow peoples at JHU next year (LETS HOPE I GET IN!).

I should have left a note on the other information section of the application to thank Daniel.

well well......aren't we all a bunch of a$$ kissers :D

but anyways, I do agree with the people above, Daniel. I must say, you are the most active admissions officer I've encountered online. Even Libby(whose UChicago blog is truly amazing) can't seem to quite match your speedy responses to questions.......and you have my sincere kudos for that.
