<p>It’s a spectrum. If one of your parents graduated 35 years ago and the school hasn’t heard from them since, it will be taken into account but will be on one end of the spectrum. If one of your parents is on the Alumni Association Board of Governors and the other is the president of the Georgetown Club of (Insert Big City Here), it would be on the other end.</p>
