<p>I think I’m going to read the Barron’s book between now and Wednesday? Or is REA better?</p>
<p>Took this class as freshman didn’t read the textbook at all in this class, read REA the week before the test, made a 3. Take that as you may.</p>

<p>i didnt study, and i totally f-bombed the two major essays, and i got a 4. it seems like they grade the test a lot nicer than others… calm down it’ll be ok!</p>

<p>yeah it was a good little review. i wish i had paid more attention to it lol. i just skimmed instead of paid attention to specific art eras and what not.</p>

I have REA, Barron’s, and Annotated Mona Lisa. I have not studied at all; nor taken the class. Suggested to self-study, did, now I am nervous.</p>

it was great</p>

<p>mona lisa is a good book to use.
our class used mona lisa along with marilyn stokstad’s art history books. </p>
<p>we went over in class some past essays and were told to guess their score. we all said 2 for one essay and they actually got a 4 on it!
they grade pretty easily.

<p>I’m suprisingly pretty confident that I’ll get a 4 or a 5. I’ve had an uncurved A or B+ in the class all year and you only a need like a 67 to get a 5. I seem to be able to retain more information about this class than uh…AP Euro (lucky lucky to get a 3). I’ve been using REA to review, but I kind of wished they had African and Indian art in it because those are the two chapters my teacher skipped. Oh well. Is knowing artist names really important because that’s my huge weakness in this class?</p>
<p>I’m almost certain I’ll get a 5. If I open my letter in June (or is it July?) and I have a 4, I’ll probably cry. I consistently have the highest grade in both bells, I’ve gotten higher scores on numerous tests and projects than anyone my teacher has ever had, and I work really hard.
I’ve bought several books with images of art so that I won’t see an image I don’t know and put it down as being in the wrong period. Eg: for some reason, I always think Edward Hopper looks like DeChiroco and Social Realism and Surrealism are very different!</p>
<p>Are there any books for it? Like Barron’s, Kaplan’s, Princeton Review? Because when I went to the local B&N I didn’t see any. I’m taking 4 APs (one down, 3 to go), but I can never find any books for Art History or Human Geo.</p>

<p>i thought overall i did pretty well.
mc was surprisingly easy… with a few surprises. and the frq’s were good too. although i forgot TWO artists names!! oh well
but i might if im lucky pull a four.</p>
<p>I did pretty sweetly. We had some slide issues at the uni where we took it, but it all worked out. It seems like no test is big enough to test all of Art History. The AP is a huge exam but it went over such a small portion of the 10,000 year history of art.</p>
<p>Meh. I thought the MC section was pretty tough at parts and extremely easy in others. I thought I did decent on the essays though. I did butcher the spelling of one of the artists’ names, which I hope doesn’t count against me.</p>
<p>I think I did pretty well! The Annotated Mona Lisa is VERY helpful.
Nearly all the images were discussed in that book and it emphasized the right stuff.
I strongly suggest it!!</p>
<p>I got boned on a couple of the short essays. I omitted the -son in one of the artist’s names, thought Courbet made a Daumier, and confused Neoclassical for Romantic. But I breezed through MC and Long essay. Possible 5, but very much up in the air.</p>
