ahhhhhhh

How many questions will be on MC?

Does it matter if we do the prompts out of order?

I was fretting really bad, so I took the college board practice multiple choice, and weighted out of 49, I got 31.75. Happy now, though still nervous.

I seriously wish the best of luck to everyone. Just remember to relax, and try your best. It's only a test. Granted...a big one. But what will one score mean 50 years from now? Good luck everyone! CCers rock to the umpteenth degree!

You can do them in any order, but you must write the number in the box at the top of the page, stating which question you are responding to.

I definitely want at least a 4. If I get a 3, I'll probably be somewhat depressed, as English is one of my best subjects...A 5 would be very nice, though, hehehe...

There should be around 55 questions on 4 passages... if there are 5 passages, however, (which is bad) then there'd be only around 50 questions.

I'm not nervous about tomorrow. I have nothing to lose. I'm going to college this fall, no matter what happens tomorrow.

:P You're lucky hairypotty. Some of us, like me, want awesome scores on our APs because our ECs are too average or our GPA isn't in the 3.8-4.0 range. sigh

test in 8.5 hours

sorry rippon, i hadn't read that far back

ok bed time

or both potato :P

hmm test is actually in 12 hours... I LOVE PST!

Good Luck tomarrow morning everyone!

"There should be around 55 questions on 4 passages... if there are 5 passages, however, (which is bad) then there'd be only around 50 questions."

So...it changes from year to year?

Yeah I think it does.

Oh god, I'm so bad with essays, I think I'm going to puke.

Good luck everyone. I've still to take a practice test.

Edit: Okay, not true. I've done practice essays before, but .. haven't done well. My main problem is I'm a terribly slow reader. Math's my strength.

minimum m.c. score for a five with 20 avg on essays?

30/55, according to this PR book I have open right now.

30/55 + 20/27 essays does not = 5 sorry

So i know it's a little late, but i just wanted to rant about how Cliff's last 2 practice tests SUCK.

First 3 were amazing..raised my average raw score up by alot.
But the last 2 tests... COMEON! they were obviously just shoved in as fillers. The explanations are about half the length of the earlier ones. And by the way: They're USELESS!

The earlier ones would tell why each individual answer was wrong, and why the right one was right. The last ones pretty much restate the correct answer. THANKS ALOT.

The questions are ridiculously ambiguous and have completely shaken my confidence. Does anyone else have the same situation or is it just me??

From 5 steps to a 5:
1) Take multiple choice raw score and multiply by 1.227 (if 55 questions)

Essay 1: pts x 3.055
Essay 2: pts x 3.055
Essay 3: pts x 3.055
2) Essay 1 + Essay 2 + Essay 3 = essay raw score

Add multiple choice to essay score from 1 to 2 to get:
General trend:
150-100 = 5
99-86 = 4
85-67 = 3

(Average, scale varies)
So 30 on mc + 6's on all your essays = 4
30 on mc + 7's on all your essays = 5

i cant frikin fall asleep. wow.. life really sux.. this has got to be the worst night of my life.. im not worried or anything, i just cant fall asleep. wow..
