*** The AP European History Practice Thread ***

^ Oh, same as French & Indian War, right? (as called in Canada)

dude your summary of the thirty years war is like what PR explained. u did a better job :P

HA! I actually review out of the Princeton Review, most likely why they are similar. Thanks!

And yes, I believe that’s what it’s called as well.

Cram time!

What does everyone still have left to study? For the most part, I’m done… but I’ll still review! I’ll pick a few events and make sure I know I can write essays on them and such.

I might be screwed. I spent so much time on Spanish and today is the first day of a study since last weekend. But my scores have been strong so… here I go!

Haven’t read the whole thread so sorry if this has already been posted but
[AP Pass - AP Euro Calculator](AP European History Test Score Calculator - AP Pass)
this is a beautiful tool. It might make you a little cocky though. I know it did that to me. But for those of you who are having doubts, this will reassure you of the beautiful curve on this exam. Keep in mind that it might change, although most likley not significantly.

Also-- One more question. Do alot of sophomores take this exam? Is this like a sophomore class? Jw because my school is kinda weird about this class

I am a sophomore.

I am also a sophomore, but in my school taking it as a sophomore is a bfd.
Lots of seniors & juniors take it.
But I read somewhere that it is normally a sophomore class

Most everyone at my school taking it is a sophomore.

I am a sophomore taking this as well.

Do you guys plan on reviewing exploration? (cortez, pizarro, magellan, etc.)

@ supergrover
Of COURSE!!!
they always have at least 2 MC on these guys. (or so i’ve heard.)
who knows it might even show up in FR.
study it!

Yeah I think I remember at least 3-4 questions concerning the explorers and the other stuff going on at that time from last year.

Oh gosh. Then I’ll definitely go over that

Ok so heres my situation. I didn’t take the AP Euro course this year but I was given the choice to take the AP Euro exam so I decided to take it. (Took World Civs II) I never realised how close it was. (this Friday).
Question:
Anyway I can power study important events, people, anything? Anything extremely important worth going over? Tips?

I took a Spark Notes Online MCQ of 80 questions right of the bat without any studying got an AP score of 2.

I got a 23 / 38 on that MCQ thing. Link somewhere in this thread :S.

Know I delayed a the studying right up until the last couple days didn’t really think much of it.

Thanks!

I got a 48 on my practice test today in school (last year’s 2009). Is that good? that’s with correct - incorrect x .25

^That’s ok I would say, about on line with a 4. Btw, do you have a digital version of that 2009 AP Euro Test?

haha im in the same situation. im just gunna go over PR like there’s no tomorrow and practice a dbq to see what its like and get the 4 that i need. :)

No, I don’t have it. Sorry. Is it true the 2009 version was rather difficult though?

hmmmm… can’t comment. Has anyone taken the official practice exam? I took it, but am not sure what to think of the difficulty level. Harder/easier than usual???

I’ve taken the official audit exam already. I don’t really know the difficulty level compared to other released tests; I’m saving the only one I have (1999) for tomorrow.
