Yeah, I live in Dubai so I took it before you guys. The MC was ridiculously simple, although the time ****ed me. FRQ section was haaaard. :/

Does anyone know how to score the Physics C Mechanics exam? I feel like I got a 3-4… I really made tiny mistakes, ugh!

the multiple choice wasn’t bad but free responses were insane.

i did horrible, good luck.

free respone last 2 problem raped me. ; (

1st frq easy
second 2 immposible

1st) easy
3rd) moderate, but beasted

MC = pretty simple, answered 30/35 and sure I got atleast 27 right.

2 FRQ = MINDBLOWING D:

tried to answer some-things, but arghhh I was dumb-struck.

Anyways, hope you guys did well! Way things are looking after that test, I’m expecting a 5.

The 2nd one was totally impossible for me. Didn’t even understand it. But I left an equation on number 1… hoping to get a freebie point. :D

Number 3 wasn’t that hard… the way I went about them were correct, the format of my answer is technically correct, just didn’t substitute some things correctly. ■■■.

It just haunts me… that I knew what I was doing, but made so many small mistakes that could have landed me a 4. I’m so ****ed and angry at myself.

I definitely failed.

The MC wasn’t bad, but I spent too long on some questions, so I didn’t have time to finish.

Free response…CRAZY! I actually got answers for #1, but 2 and 3…total BS.

At this point, I’d be happy with a 2.

exactly. I’m hoping for a good curve. does anyone know around what it usually is?

How does a curve work? I’m pretty sure I got 55% of the entire exam correct… 5% away from a 4.

Raw Score: 45/35 * (MC Correct - 0.25*Incorrect) + FR1 + FR2 + FR3

Mechanics Raw to AP Score:
55/90 = 5
43/90 = 4
32/90 = 3

E/M Raw to AP Score:
49/90 = 5
36/90 = 4
26/90 = 3

The MC was waaaaaaaaay easier than princeton review, but the second free response question…uhh…***

on E&M same thing for the mc, but each FR I f’ed up something on, dunno

dude number 2=■■■ on mech. I hope i double fived it, E and M wasnt that bad

MC: answered 30/35; correct: 27-28
FRQ1: pretty easy… didnt answer graphs, but I now realize it was pretty easy
FRQ2: very difficult, may have picked up a few points.
FRQ3: Decent, but I think I got it all correct, maybe not full explanation points for the last part.

Estimation of Score: about 27*(45/35) + 12 + 2 + 14 = 62.5 (need about 55 for a 5).
Probably got a 5, but if I didnt do as well as I thought, worst case scenario a high 4.

according to that… i got a 4… puts me at ease a little. :)

Mech
MC: sooo easy
FRQ1: easy
FRQ2: damn…failed
FRQ3: easy

E&M
MC: as easy as mech
FRQ1,2,3: easy
E&M was generally easy.

Mech:

MC: Not to be arrogant, but I’m pretty sure I had a perfect MC paper. I had 20 mins left to check my work, and I don’t think I got any wrong.

FRQ:
1: easy.
2: I got part one right, messed up on part 2 (had the formula memorized though so partial credit win!). and then parts 3 & 4 were easy peezy.
3: messed up part 1 with substitution error.

Panicked on test, bad call =/. Left 7 blank on MC (probably around 25 right though) and left #2 on the FRQ completely blank lol. Pretty sure I got 11 or 12 on both of the other FRQ’s though.

2 was easy? Really?

You’re getting a 5 then, Vaeliant.

I’m pretty sure I bombed it, “hoping” for a 4 here.

I left question 2 alone. I wrote Epic Fail all over it.
Question 1 was straightforward, Question 3 was okay. Multiple Choice was very easy, I am hoping for like a 49/90 being a 5 so I can pull one off.
