Jersey if u can get a 2400 sat I think youll be fine on ap gov lol. I took apush last year, studied gov for 2 days and got a 55/60 on the 2009 test. Im not really too worried lol.

Took the 2009 Released exam and got 57/60. Just took the second Princeton Review practice exam and got a 45/60!!!

***!!!

Nope, check the AP credit page. I was pleasantly surprised when I found that out haha.

@Jersey: Nice :). You’re just too good :P.

Does anyone know what Supreme Court case determined that race could not be used as the sole factor in redistricting (but could be used as a factor)?

^Same here. Except I got a 49/60 and constantly get 54+ on the released exams. I think it’s safe to assume that the PR exams are harder than the actual ones.

Got a link to the 2009 released exam you dont mind sending me? :P

skateme i just took the second princeton and got 48-im pretty ****ed right now. I did really good on the first one-gonna go try the collegeboard one now

does anyone have a opinion on the Sparknotes AP Gov Diagnostic test?

^^^ No idea. The only case I remember about race not being the sole factor in a decision is the Bakke vs. California Board of Regents, but that’s concerning college admissions.

Just took another practice MC, 55/60. Think I’m going to focus on FRQs now.

59/60 on MC, 57.5 on FR, no study, so I will continue to not study.

o *****, anyone know of any quick reviews for us govt?

REA US Gov & Pol Crash Course is a pretty comprehensive and rapid review.

Miller v. Johnson - same thing as Shaw V. Reno, kinda stare decisis

Shaw v. Reno = racial gerrymandering must be held under strict scrutiny but the Voting Rights Act must still be kept in mind

Yeah I got 59/60 on the first Princeton Review practice test, but the second one shat all over me.

By the way, the SparkNotes diagnostic test is crap. The “calculator” sucks. I got like 5 wrong but it counted each one 3 times and said my estimated score was a 3. Scared the crap out of me at first.

If you want the 2009 AP US Govt and Politics exam, PM me FAST. I’m going to sleep in 10 min. I wouldn’t mind trading though. I’ll take AP World, AP Lang, AP Chem, AP Spanish Lang, or AP Calc BC.

skateme, where did you find that released exam?

^^ Would you trade it for my thanks :)?

Two 57/60s on actual AP exams and I knew almost all of the FRQs from 2003-2009 from AP Central.

I’m feeling the 5; moving on to Comparative for the night.

Teacher…

Going to take the 2002 Released one now, will be my last practice MC tonight.

Crap, I have nothing to trade it with…

Do you want a link to the 2002 released exam?

the 2002 exam is on the 5th page of this topic :o

Took that… I just need to take the 2009 one. It’s the only one I haven’t taken yet.
