The exam is in a week! I feel sooo unprepared. I need to get a 5 in order to receive college credit, but I don't even think I'll pass... I have a bad teacher who hasn't given us any practice exams.

Who else is taking it?

Who else is taking it?

I’m taking it. However, while I want to do well, I feel no pressure to get a 5 because my college doesn’t give credit for APs. (lame).

I’m taking it, and I had to drop the second half of the class for scheduling purposes, so I’m self studying the second half. I took a practice test and got a 5 on Saturday, so I’m feeling pretty confident.

^ What did you use to self-study the second half?

My teacher provided me with Ethel Woods’ US Government, I’m not sure if it’s good or not, but I hear her book for Comp. Gov is good, so I’ve stuck to using it.

It stinks you guys have AP test first.

What sucks is that I have AP Gov’t at 8 in the morning… and then AP French right afterwards at 12.

I feel like I’m really prepared. I’m getting 45+/60 on these practice exams. And in class I do really well on the FR. I just need to keep studying to get up to 50+/60 and then I’m good.

Is anyone using PR? I am, and its practice exams seems easier than the actual exam.

i jsut took a practice mlt choice test today in class

45 min

60 questions

she graded it the same style, noo points off for omotted and such

i for a 75/100

so i do average on essays

and since multchoice is half: 75% of 2.5 is 1.875, so i need to get at least half the FR to guarantee a 3 lol

are there any released exams?

gpowsang wat test did u take?

are there any released exams?

I am horrible at gov’t. All my friends think gov’t is common sense, but I just seem to lack this “common sense”. So is there anything I can do in 4 days to actually give myself a chance to pass the exam? How are you guys studying for this?

My cram plan is:

Thursday: Watch Units 1 & 2 from here, take 2 practice MC tests
Friday: Watch Units 3 & 4, take 2 practice MC tests
Saturday: Study w/ friends, go over previous FRs, take a full-length practice exam
Sunday: Review weak spots using PR and Barron’s

Hopefully that’ll suffice…

Anyone have a way to remember the 27 amendments? ):

This is going to sound really lame haha but in class we had to make flashcards with pictures correlating to the amendments and then the number on the back and it actually helps you memorize them quite well

Do we have to memorize all 27 amendments? I know the Bill of Rights, but what about the other 17 (especially the ones that no one really talks about?)??

I got an old PR book today. Hope it can teach me something.

Woo! I got 51 out of 60 on the practice MC test that I took on Monday. Hopefully that bodes well…

Wow you don’t need to know all of the amendments…

Know the bill of rights, 14-16, 19, 22, maybe 25.

does anyone know how many questions you can miss for a 5? (assuming decent FR scores)
