The APUSH book everyone talks about - making sure

<p>Before I buy it, I just want to make sure that "United States History—Preparing for the Advanced Placement Examination, Revised" by John Newman and John Schmalbach is the AMSCO book that people on CC recommend.</p>

<p>^ That is a textbook. AMSCO is considered the best because it’s a mini textbook, but it’s easy to read and has all the facts you need.</p>

<p>Yes, I definitely recommend the AMSCO book. It hits all the important stuff but still gives enough detail on everything.</p>

<p>I used REA (not nearly as much as the American Pageant). I had plans on getting AMSCO, but Amazon predicted a 2-3 months for it be shipped, so I’m was hesitant as it was mid-January when I heard about AMSCO. But based on the reviews on Amazon, I would go w/ AMSCO.</p>

<p>I agree this is boss. Its really boring and everything but will get you a 5. I read it & got a 5 on AP & 710 on SAT2</p>
