This club is for "average" CCers. Based on what people have said on this site, sub 2100 SAT scores are kind of low.

Most of the people that get lower than 2100 are probably either too ashamed to say it on here with all the supposed 2400s or some of the people with over 2100 are lying.

can I join?
SAT I : 2190
SAT II: 650s

OMG OMG OMG OMG I just got accepted to NYU...does that get me kicked out of the average people club?

1.Not taken yet
2.B-, AP English Lang, oh, and a B+ in Honors French... But I lived in France for 4 years and went to a French school
3. None taken yet
4. Are you joking me? Softball team lot 20-0 in 5 innings. Seriously. Though only 10 runs were "earned"
5. 53% on english essay, 11/22 on a Apush test, 3/14 on English sonnet

I love this thread, because it gives me some hope. Well, I probably have the lowest SAT score of 1530 but unweighted 3.86 gpa (on the UC list; 3.9 for any other list). We have no ap classes at my school, so I win on that one too. I think my only "reach" schools are the UCs -- otherwise I've been accepted already at 4 of the 6 colleges I applied to and I can't imagine I won't be accepted to the other two (Cal. States). I would like to get into at - least one UC - Merced is looking better and better, especially being on the semester system, unlike all other UC's (other than Berkeley). Of course, with my SATs, don't know if I'll even get in there.

My cousin went to University of Arizona for undergrad and her masters, and she's now at Stanford for her PhD, and my parents (both UCLA grads) insist that going to a more laid back college and enjoying college life gives you a better chance of getting into a "dream" school for grad, and being happier in life. Maybe they're just being nice, but I think they have a point.

I'm just happy that I am wanted somewhere!

I got into UC (Cincinnati), which was my first choice. Whoo! My reach school is SUNY Stonybrook which is my real number one, but I still have to send in my transcripts. Still, I'm pretty much coasting for the next semester.

Due to the High SAT people with crappy grades who want to be members, I have divided the club into 2 factions. One group is the people who are full members by fulfilling all 5 requirements.

The other group is for anyone who scored 2100 or above on the SAT or 31 or above on the ACT but has low grades. Besides the original 5 requirements, here are the requirements to join this faction:

1.) You need to have a B or lower in 3 or more classes instead of just 1 to compensate for the high SAT scores.

2.) You must not be in the top 10% of your class.

3.) The most important rule of all: You absolutely cannot be a member of the dreaded "Uber Exclusive 2300 club" or the equally evil “Semi-exclusive 2200-2290 club“. You can’t be a member of these groups that celebrate academic achievement if you want to be considered average. They are the exact opposite of what the "average" club is all about.

As for the people with multiple 4’s on AP tests, I can’t accept you because getting high grades on AP tests requires studying, something that us average folk won’t do.

Anyone w/high test scores who posted before requesting membership is welcome now if they meet the original 5requirements as well as the 3 additional ones for the high SAT/ACT faction.

SAT: 1900
Failed test: I got a B in Biology sometime this year
But my SAT score is the highest in my school; does that disqualify me?
I didn't take any APs.

I was with you guys Sophomore year. 3.6 GPA for that year, a 50% on a physics test, 1850 on a practice SAT, and a 4 on my AP US Gov exam. Then I picked up stuff junior year and I moved on to the good student club.
