slipstream and cherry are exactly corect. Why would anyone post their 1000? I too am in statistics and totally agree. Is it me or does that AP test seem really easy?

I thought stat was very easy. I wasn't paying attention to time and didn't even work on half the free response... and still got a 5. Go figure.

I don't understand how statistics is an AP course. It is suuuuch an easy class.

i am surprised that the avg still hasn't topped 1500

Are you kidding me? 1470 is ridiculously high! It's like 98th percentile...

1465.9+(1470-1465.9)/33=1466.02

1466.02 + (1420-1466.02)/34 = 1464.66

1464.66 + (1600 - 1464.66)/35 = 1468.53

some doofus up there messed up the average... he dropped down to 32.. and to think he is the valedictorian of my school...

1468.53 + (1580 - 1468.53)/36 = 1471.63

"i am surprised that the avg still hasn't topped 1500"

lol. b/c of voluntary response, if you graph the average over each post, it will prolly be rising with an asymptote at 1600. lol

1468.53+(1550-1468.53)/37=1470.73

1470.74+(1590-1470.73)/38=1473.88

1473.88 + (1410-1473.88)/39 = 1472.24

hehe... maybe when i am junior it will be higher. sorry for bringing it down.

1472.24 + (1450-1472.24)/40= 1471.68

Sorry for bringing it down. I should've actually studied for the test.

Hm.. look at the bottom of page 5; there were 48 people in the total, and now there are 40...

will someone please recalculate

** Recalculate score it is now at: 1471 + (1450 - 1471)/57 = 1471 **

So the next person please divide by 58.

michael_pham... it doesn't quite work that way, because the differences from teh overall scores are based off a total of 58... so for every previous discrepancy, the average fluctuated more than it should have... it's impossible to fix that easily anyways... sorry... i'm not trying to be mean... it might come off that way... just clearing that up haha

What do you mean?

I recalculated based on the person who posted their score last on page 5.
And then all the people on here, I moved them up to one.
Last person on page 5 was number 48, first person on here was number 49, etc.
I recalculated everyone's score again.

It just seemingly happened that with so many scores already, the average didn't really fluctuate much.

How would you do it? I believe I calculated everyone's score back correctly.

ohh... i thought u just suddenly started going on from 52... because i was gonna say, the rate of change would also be different when you go from 38-52 because ur dividing less scores into a range of more
