which colleges did u apply to?

Congrats on your acceptance to DePauwā¦
I have also applied to Grinnellā¦And, I have applied mostly to LACās like Colorado, Hamilton, Trinity, Connecticutā¦
And, I have friends who applied to Amherst, Colby and Whitmanā¦
Does Depauw operate on a rolling basis?..I mean they do not maintain a fixed notification deadline of April 1 as they notified you earlierā¦

I received the official letter much sooner than I expectedā¦then I did some snooping arnd on the net and found that others had received letters on the same day tooā¦so I guess yea they admit on a rolling basis.
DePauw is definfitly a good option but Iām hopeful for better offersā¦which school ar u frm?

I am from Oxford International School. Where are you from?

oo I didnt know thereās a bangladeshi thread out here. Well hey everyone, Iām from BD and I finished applying to my colleges; and the waiting game really sucks =/

yep, this waiting game really sucksā¦still have to wait for more than a monthā¦

I know =/
so what are ur stats?

There is a Bangladeshi Thread!? Hello everyone!

Hell yeah! Itās not very active though.

Hello everyone! Where are the Bangladeshi students applying this year?
Where are you people going to apply? It will be great if you share your university list.

Without an SAT score, I have absolutely no idea what colleges I should be looking at. Iāll take the test this October, and Subject Tests in November. What about you guys?

bump. the october SAT is only 7 weeks away.

10char

hey i guysā¦iām from Bangladesh tooā¦i am applying to a few universities in USAā¦i applied to DUKE university under Early decisionā¦letās see what happensā¦fingers crossedā¦

Thereās a Bangladeshi thread? Damn! Iāve been looking for something like this for so long.
So where has everyone been applying this year? Does anyone know any universities in USA that let international students pay the in-state tuition fee if their academic results are good?

*Bump
Anyone? Could someone please name some universities with low tuition fees (below $18,000) that could be good for an undergraduate student who wants to study chemical or electrical engineering?

UT arlington, UT dallas . I donāt know how good it is but they let you pay in state tuition fees and even give you a scholarship if you have good grades and sat scores.

A good school to look into is University of Alabama. They give out scholarships to internationals with good SAT scores. If you manage to get the presidential scholarship, your entire cost of attendance can fall below $15,000.

@Ssparkk Thanks. Some of the universities in Texas seem to provide this offer. Iām looking at Texas A&M.
@RoughE University of Alabama is pretty good but sadly they donāt offer chemical engineering. I wanted to keep it as one of my choice majors.

What do you think my chances are at texas a&m. My SAT scores are 2010 (Reading:590| Math:720| Writing:700) And how is university of iowa? I heard from a friend they provide good scholarships to international students.
