The Berkeley Housing Thread

<p>One type of housing most people don't even know about are the suites. There is only one suite per building on the ground floor, but it has a loft, a kitchen, and a nice bathroom. I think people don't apply for these because they don't know about them. Apparently the resident directors used to live in them but they converted them into dorms.</p>

<p>They are also considered on-campus, so they come with the on-campus financial aid package.</p>

<p>I've never been in Channing, but I assume they're pretty comparable since they're both apartments. I believe Channing is a little more apartment style since it's in its own building instead of the high rises. Channing also has a lease while Wada is billed like the rest of the dorms. </p>

<p>Sorry I can't help much there. If I can, I'll try to ask someone who's been inside Channing.</p>
