well it is probably one of the hardest to get into.
highest sat and gpa requirement out there
but only given to cal residents. so that deters a lot of people.

for me, it would be like my dream to get in this program.

i felt the same way...just keep it in mind, you have nothing to lose

UCSD is pretty much for cal residents only. applying out of state = almost no chance of getting in.

i'll take my chances on schools that don't discriminate to oos applicants.

and NEUCOM.

the sat I requirement's like 2250...why the gpa requirement's only 4.0 weighted remains a mystery, but i guess that's the MINIMUM gpa required to apply...

Actually, living in California is a requirement for being elligible for this program.

This program doesn't seem that great...

892JCello, DO YOU want a gpa requirement of 3.9 uw to deter more students from the program? lol.. trust me this program is worth it.

When do they start sending out invites for interview usually?

around springtime, marchish, after all the other madness is over with

uh...madamebovery, I never said the program wasn't worth it. I just meant that the program's gpa requirement doesn't mean that everyone with that gpa requirement and sat I requirement will get an interview.

This is my parents' first choice actually.

yah but they do invite all who meet the requirements to do med scholar app. im sure the essay would be uber important since stats no longer hold a great weight on the app.
