I am a community college student in MA. I am thinking to transfer between community colleges because my school’s physics program is poor. So, I am looking for a better program. The university I am planning to transfer after getting an Associate Degree of Physics is Berkeley

You ready to pay 50K per year?
Berkeley out of state would be expensive.
The frosh/soph courses for the physics major are typically these:
- Math including single variable calculus, multivariable calculus, linear algebra, differential equations.
- Calculus based physics sequence including mechanics, electricity & magnetism, heat, waves, and modern physics. Because different colleges cover topics in different orders, it is best to complete the full sequence (usually 3-4 semesters) at the same college.
- General chemistry is required or recommended at some colleges.
In addition, general education courses as specified by the four year school should be taken.
Choose a community college that offers the above to be prepared for junior transfer as a physics major to any four year school.
NASA 2014
Please do not consider that. I am planning to transfer to a community college after being a resident of a state I will go.
