I agree; the graphics of ToTA were kind of shoddy, but it was released in JA in 2004 (IIRC). The gameplay is freakin' awesome (as always) and the characters are the best! Story leaves a little to be desired, but in comparison to ToS's...:p

I actually don't particularly care for ToP, but it was a fun little thing. The opening song is really catchy (and the US GBA version removed it, of course). The SNES version is better than the port, IMO, though the port has Suzu as a playable character, and has a few modifications in line with ToE (Tales of Eternia).

Hmm. I thought plenty of people knew about ToS, but now that I think about it, I don't know (in person) anyone who does.

I've played games far more obscure, though. :D

I will concede that the focus on discrimination made my stomach turn occassionally lol

So if you're familiar with more obscure games, have you tried the Star Ocean series. I hear the 3rd one was excellent and am thinking of giving it a go.

SO3 is not obscure! Obscure is something like Hoshigami: Ruining Blue Earth, or worse, Famicom Tantei Club II! :D

As for SO3, I'd say that it's mediocre, but I weigh stories more heavily than most, and SO3's was pretty derivative (you'll be reminded of a sci-fi action flick towards teh end, and Star Trek: TOS towards the beginning). If you're into ARPGs, though, it's worth a try.

But, as a warning, search up "Albel Nox" and see if you can tolerate...that. :D

I know there are some gamers on this site, and if my experiences in gaming (stretching back to the NES's heyday) are any indication, we're mostly a gregarious lot.

I liked Twilight Princess alot too. I took the great parts of Ocarina of Time and made trhem better. I thought it was easy though; the challenging dungeons and bosses of the N64 games weren't there. But the Temple of Time was really, really cool.

So much has happened since February-- namely, Nintendo's continued dominance and Sony's poor performance. What's the verdict? Is Sony's supreme reign finished?

I think someone remarked that 5 hours a day on WoW was ridiculous..

try 5 multiplied by..yeah..!!! but alas..the days of roaming around doing absolutely nothing in the abysmal locations of Orgrimmar or IF are long gone..

anyways, I've been done with WoW for quite some time, waiting for the Warhammer release, or maybe Age of Conan.

Maybe WotLK will make amends to the damaged relationship and utterly boring relationship between WoW and I..highly doubtful, however!
