The Best Eateries Thread

^agreed. never again general tao's chicken..

I never understand thte 10-15 minute wait for the omelet bar at DeNeve. If they know the high demand, they should use more people to cook ( or at least one more person).

Also, I don't think the rasberry ice cream is all that great. What do you guys think?

It tastes like pepto-bismal.

I may have had more experience with off-campus restaurants in Westwood than some of you already. ;)

I recommend this Indian place on Gayley, south of Weyburn. I forget what it's called but it's right next to a thai place.

I like Sax; it's cheap and decent. :)

I think you are thinking of Bombay Bite, Sam, I just passed that earlier tonight.

The raspberry ice cream tastes like... raspberry ice cream.
It's actually perfect.

Yes, I think so. There's only one Indian place on that stretch anyway.

I also recommend La Serenata Gourmet on Pico (south side of the street) just west of Westwood Blvd. Mexican place with great seafood (fish) dish. You got to try quesadillas stuffed with poblano peppers and mushrooms. It looks different from others--like a giant dumpling.

i really like redn'vz mexican. goood stuff

[ ] redn'vz mexican

pinkkberry.

ok i shouldnt spread it. the line will be unbearable soon.

Pinkberry is kind of overrated in my opinion. Kind of like Jamba Juice. Really, I think that you can make juice yourself, and you can get your yogurt with toppings at a residential restaurant.

pinkberry yogurt is nothing like the dining hall yogurt lol

Wow quite interesting .. I just hear from people it's just like fat free yogurt where you add toppings .. and I wonder if you can just do that in dining halls.

Haha I guess they weren't too specific .

its more than that... but hold that thought, i may need to quote you for a story in about a week (its impossible to find pinkberry detractors)

where's pinkberry?

next to subway

Hey namaste, I read your FubarBus article today. It was cool, since I knew a little about it.

Are you going to write about Pinkberry too? That would be cool.
