<p>Senior’s Dad obviously hasn’t been to Michigan lately.</p>

<p>Ann Arbor is a GREAT semi-affordable place for college students and young professionals. It’s fantastic to know that I can find decent rent ($600-900/month for one bedroom apartment) within 20 mile radius of the city. It offers most national chains for every interest. The wealthy Detroit suburbs are only 20 minutes away.</p>

<p>My friends are still living with their parents in LA and Chicago because they cannot afford to move out.</p>

<p>If you’re the type of person who likes walkable space but also enjoys the outdoors (camping, skiing, hiking), Ann Arbor is a fun place to be. The national forest parks are only a few hours drive away.</p>
