Hey Everyone,
What’s the best SAT vocab list? I heard many people recommend Barron’s or Princeton review’s. Is that true?
No. If you are going to memorize lists, the best thing to do is create your own from official practice tests. If you really want to buy a list, get Direct Hits.

I got a 2400 and I found memorizing vocab lists to be the dumbest idea ever. Such a small percentage of SAT questions are sentence completions that memorizing 1000+ words is a waste of time. When you’re taking practice tests, make note of any vocab words you don’t know that are in the answer choices, and then look them up afterwords.
If you are already a voracious reader, there is no need to study vocab lists because they are a waste of money+ time. The best thing you can do is to create your own list( as everyone else has mentioned), from the previous practice tests that you have done. Try to write every word that you do not know, and from there you should have a good start.
