The best thing about Penn

Penn students,

What’s the best thing about Penn?

Are there any landmarks, etc that are especially interesting/inspiring?

(to add details to my why penn essay)

Oh man. Where do I start?

As far as landmarks go:
There are some awesome landmarks. I'm not sure what they're called. There's a button statue and a love statue. There's also the fighting tampons or whatever they're called.

agreed, theres too many good things to say about penn
HOW COME YOU HAVENT EVEN VISITED THE CAMPUS????

speaking of the campus, while it has many perks, wouldnt you agree sometimes it can be a little drab. cuz i visited on a rainy day a few weeks ago, and things were really gray and some of the ground there was just dirt and theres all those construction projects going on. then again, people will probably be spending their time, INSIDE during the winter... am i making any sense?

yeah yeah... campus is gloomy when its raining. agreed. this one time over the summer i was forced to navigate through this totally flooded/marshy area cause it was the shortest way to get from the quad to the library...(like that lil cement square with the benches/almost garden type of deal) and the engineering section of campus is just really depressing. same with the nursing buildings. and lets not forget that philly as a city is utter crap. but one sort of overlooks these things because PENN IS AWESOMEEeeeeeeeeeeee

cut your finger on the edge...cause it's sharper than they told you...
take a leap from out the window cause it's way too far to go through the door...

well, i plan to make the best of my time indoors! kekekekekekeke

<insert brand="" new="" lyric="" here=""></insert>

P.s shorty, i totally realised that brand new sang that song "the quiet things that no one ever knows" so that's why they totally sounded familiar. that's such a good song, (but not as good as sic transit gloria.)

The Wharton School

once again, I think the campus is highly underrated. Yes, there are a few parts that aren't so great, but overrall, it's one of the best urban school campuses(along with Georgetown and Columbia). Campuses usually look better in the spring, summer, and fall. But even when I visited a week or two ago, I thought it was amazing. It's not small, but it's not huge. One only needs to see Perelman Quad(Wynn Commons), the Quad, and Locust Walk to see how beautiful Penn can be. I also think that in general, the surrounding area is nice(however I was a little wary of the area by DuBois College House and the high rises. Although the Bridge Theater and the huge supermarket are really nice, that area isn't so great.

The best thing about Penn is its One University practice(which is why i'm applying for transfer).

{keep the noise low...she doesn't wanna blow it}
THIS IS SO MESSED UP
she's breathing quiet and smooth...he's gasping for air...
this is the first and last time he says...she fakes a smile and presses her hips into his
he keeps his hands pinned down at his sides... he's holding back from telling her exactly what it really feels like... he is the lamb, she is the slaughter... she's moving way too fast and all he wanted was to hold her... nothing that he touches is really having an effect... he whispers that he loves her but she's prolly only looking for...

up the stairs the station where the act becomes the art of growing up

DIE YOUNG AND SAVE YOURSELF..................

umm.......

stfu faux ... you just don't understand, man.

The people, the focus.
The reasons that I had to believe you weren't too hard to settle.
Die young and save yourself.

but it's totally cool how you quoted my favorite part of the song.

Singing on message boards really borders on super-hard-core-freakish-internet-nerd you know :p

stfu faux ... you just don't understand, man!
