<p>okay so basically my school's trying to prepare us juniors for college essays and my english teacher gave us the topic "WHAT IS YOUR PASSION"</p>
<p>oh god that's like my favorite topic. [sarcasm] </p>
<p>im stuck and i have writer's block and i asked my 11 year old bro what to write about. </p>
<p>i'm amazing, aren't i?</p>
<p>i just had to rant.</p>
<p>What is your passion?</p>
<p>you know, normal people should know, especially after being alive for seventeen years, but i on the other hand, do not know.</p>
<p>I was kind of being facetious but.. 
What are you into? What are your favorite courses? What are your activities? What do you want to be when you grow up? How are you deciding which colleges to apply to?</p>
<p>How do you not know what your passion is?</p>
<p>Sports? School? Friends? A certain subject? Volunteer work? Reading? Theater? GAH!</p>
<p>i’m basically applying to all the UC’s, USC, Boston University, Westmont College, Chapman, UChicago, NYU, Carnegie Mellon, Cal Poly SLO, CSU Long Beach, Drexel, and San Diego State University. </p>
<p>yes i’m probably the only kid applying to like 28137823718237 schools. my parents dont care. im applying to the colleges i am because i have friends there and they describe the atmosphere and stuff and I think i would really fit in. they’re also pretty good in biotech which is maybe what i want to major in. that and .. [excluding westmont and chapman] i kind of go to a small catholic private school and i miss the hugeness of public schools, and fairly large private schools in this case. i love the meet someone knew everyday atmosphere. </p>
<p>umm i dont know because .. well i like art, alot .. like everything i give to my friends for their birthdays, etc are handmade, i love science, currently, i want to be a pediatrician. hmm I LOVEEE volunteering at this homeless shelter, like i love the reaction the people there get when you just simply smile at them and when you play with their kids … I LOVEEEEE SPEECH AND DEBATE OMG you have no idea!</p>
<p>Ok, see you have passions. Now decide which one would be easiest to write about and get typing :P.</p>

<p>okay, now choose one and say why you love it. i think that the volunteering thing would turn into the best essay (your reasoning has multiple points and is good), however, go with what you think you can write the best about.</p>
