Which University is the most accommodating to Koreans?

Any particular field you are interested in studying in college?

[? Leading the way SNU ?](http://www.useoul.edu)

In America

By “accommodating,” do you mean somewhere where a Korean person can still go out and find Korean things (i.e, food, music, products, books, etcetc.) easily? Or simply a place where Koreans are accepted?

If we’re talking about the former, you’d probably be better off looking at major cities, particularly LA (Koreatown). IN any major city, there should be some stores and such that caters to the local Korean community, but it may be a bit out of the way.

If you’re talking about the latter, I’m judging you a little. For the most part, universities/colleges tend to be more liberal minded, so most minority groups (whether for race, sexual orientation, lesser-abled, etc.) find themselves feeling more comfortable. In terms of Koreans in particular, many colleges have some type of Korean student club or association. Look into those things.

I have no specifics but I’ll bet you can’t go wrong with NYU

Cal Berkeley, Michigan, UCLA, Washington, NYU, BU, MSU, OSU, PSU

UIUC and UT has the biggest Korean population as far as I know.

I currently attend UIUC and there are a lot of Koreans and Korean marts.

University of Maryland, College Park, is good. The local area has many Koreans. You can take the subway to Washington, DC. It’s only a few miles away. Most universities with a lot of Koreans have a KASA club- Korean American Student Association, so that is something to look for. I think that Johns Hopkins and U Chicago have a lot of Koreans. They definitely have a lot of Asians (about 20%).

All of the top universities. Many of the top LAC’s.
In other words, Koreans are everywhere at the tippy-top.

What would be an example of a university not being accommodating to Koreans?

^lol i have the same question.
