<p>A 4.0 isn’t necessary nor sufficient, though your unweighted GPA should be as close to 4.0 as possible. A 3.9 is essentially just as good.
It also depends on your class rank. If a lot of people have a 4.0 at your school, it won’t mean as much.</p>
