You negotiate with another student for set resources. You have secret information on your part and they have secret information on their part. The point is to screw the other student over and get as much resources yourself. And some professors weigh a part of the grade on your performance in these negotiations.

message comes a little slow, but for transferring into the M&T program, you can but it's hard as anything! they keep the quota around 50 students, so if like 4 people drop out, they'll take 4 new people. no hard number, but from the transfers that i'v talked to, their GPAs are upwards of 3.9 ... especially hard since most of them come from engineering and engineering freshman year kills ...

and as for the wharton curve, its bad but it's not that bad. the curve in engineering is actually worse ...

I love Wharton :)

Prauger-to answer your forst question--about $40,000 per year to start after college.

Are ppl in each of the schools friends with people outside their schools? To make that more clear, do ppl in Wharton socialize with ppl in the college or nursing program?

Yes Praguer. The social scene is pretty much independent from which school you are in.

Penn is often confused with Penn State.

Wharton gives Penn the 4.6. Without Wharton Penn would be a 3.9.

how do you know that ritchie?

i know for a fact coming pre-anything out of penn is unbelievably good.

the vast majority of people look at how good a department or school is based on where it will get them in life. in that respect, penn is an outstanding school.

just adding my ten cents...people around here don't care if you're Wharton or SAS. we make fun of each other (t-shirts that say "College, not Wharton" or calling SAS the school of arts and crafts), but there's not really a rivalry or anything. someone already mentioned dual degrees, but those can be tough to do if you're in SAS because you have to do the Wharton core, which would fill up most, if not all, electives.

I will be attending the SAS, and NOT Wharton. I am still very proud to be part of the Penn community. I truly believe compaines would respect the fact that I got a B.A. in Economics from Penn.

Can any who has done a dual degree tell me how difficult it was? And by dual degree I mean wharton and the college.

yeah, i'm thinking about wharton+math. is that crazy impossible?
