the bill for school is ridiculous

Ok so I finally got the statement thing for UCR. It's probably the most confusing bill I have ever dealt with before. It's so unclear and I don't even know what I'm paying for. How much does one unit cost? And then there's like a side note where I have "credit"? How does that work?

And then it's like...I'm paying 4 grand a month!? or is it for the entire quarter? ACK!!!! I'm so confused about all this. Anyone already pay the bill and know what they're doing?

A credit means that you'll be receiving a refund. If you haven't signed up for a direct deposit then this refund will come in the form of a check mailed to your address. All the fees that are showing up on your statement are for THIS quarter. Usually unless something changes you'll receive about the same refund for every quarter and have the same amount of charges.

what are you talking about?
everything is listed in order and the total is at the bottom. Take a course in bookkeeping this year plz

thanks khmun. i didn't know that the credit thing turns into a refund. i assumed it would be taken off the total i pay for the quarter :D

imsolazyyy: haha i kind of did my senior year in high school. yeah i read the bill over like 20 times and finally figured everything out :)

You dont pay per unit at UCR unless you go over a certain limit (which you can petition out of anyways).

whoa what do you mean i don't pay per unit. like is it per class or just a set price and i choose classes
