The Blizzard = No School?

I don't know about the rest of you but, there's a huge blizzard where I live.

What are the chances there will be no school tomorrow?

It's rather upsetting. Although I will like the day off, I'm imprisoned in my house by the walls of snow outside. Why couldn't this blizzard happen last week when I was taking my midterms?!.

My midterms week is this week, and a postponement of my APUSH exam would be lovely. I highly doubt there'll be a snow day tomorrow, though. Where I live we got about 9 in. and snow stopped a couple of hours ago. Where are you?

Because the snow-gods hate you. :p

I am expreriencing the huge blizzard too - there's currently more than a foot. It's 11:30 on sunday so i would absolutely love a snow day tomorrow. However, its supposed to stop in a few hours so i doubt it. But, maybe there'll be a delay. I just wish the blizzard could have happened during the week so we could have days off, not the weekend. oh wel. :)

what the h***! i would love to be imprisoned in my house... play video games all day long, jeez, its not that hard :)

I'm in MA and it does seem, looking at how the trucks are ferociously piling the snow on the sides of the streets, that there is a chance school will be open tomorrow :( The snow-gods do hate me.

But, even if there is school tomorrow, how will I get out of my house? The trucks have been piling feets of snow at the end of my driveway since yesterday, making it impossible to escape today.
Oh well, maybe if me and my father start shoveling the snow today by tomorrow we will have dug out a narrow escape route. I hate when this happens.

my lord, a blizzard and school is still on? have there been lotsa snow, forcing you to shovel out and still u go? insane! completely unheard of around our parts

if there's like 1 inch on the road at the right time for us = no school

if u do get out though, just watch the movie Full Metal Jacket. According to your name you like it alot :)

Yes, what madness!

ilovetocamp, your the first to get my name, lol. Full Metat Jacket was such an engaging movie...seemed so real...Although Private Joker(Matthew Modine) was a great character, I'll never join the Marines, especially participate in boot camps.

there better not be school tomorrow..but the snow stopped and the roads are cleared ****

There's about 16 inches here. Hopefully, there won't be school tomorrow, but since everyone has finals this week, they're going to be especially reluctant to close school. : /

heh if there was 16 inches here we'd be out for SURE

Private Joker, yeh it was a real good movie. But man, the part when Pyle goes crazy... that was so deep... I mean dang! prolly the most poignant part of the entire movie... and just seeing the shot of him on the toilet, dead, wow, talk about excellent directing
to be honest though, i think the second half of the movie was kinda a drag, i mean not bad, but not excellent either

it had it's fair share of funny parts too, esp with the R.Lee Ermey bits ("Did your parents have any children that lived?/Your so ugly you could be a modern art masterpiece)
"Is that you John Wayne? Is this me?" heh, what is that from? does Wayne actually say t hat?

SNOW DAY Tomorrow! : D

We got about 2 and a half feet of snow... We STILL have school tomorrow... I'm glad though, because one of my finals was delayed because of a late start due to a snow storm we had last week. So i'll be taking that tomorrow morning... Woohoo...

We have almost 3 FEET here where I live in MA...no school!!!! whee!!

we had/have 20 inches of snow and as far as i know... still have school.

Ilovetocamp, after the boot camp and when the movie went into its second half, I got really disinterested, too. However, the first half was wonderfully directed. You're right about the funny parts. I would never want to be the one R.Lee Ermey yells at since his insults are so cruel. But, funny ;).

Hooray! No school for me either.

^Nice, watch that movie once or twice :)

heh, we got like 1/2 inch of snow on the roads but its really cold (around here anyway) and we got out! hooray

study day! in other words look at stuff on ebay and email everybody day.

over two feet here, but it's midterm week anyway

Although today school was out:), it seems tomorrow school will be open:(...Arrghh.

Don't some of you wish that you live in a warmer place, such as in the south or west coast, where if there were even a few drops of snow school would be cancelled?
I wish I did at times. But, I still love MA, especially Boston;).
