The Blue and Gold Opportunity Plan

Hey im wondering if anyone can tell me more about the “Blue and Gold Opportunity Plan” which is something related to financial aid at davis.
Im a little confused as to how it works, what i have to do to get it, and what it is exactly.
Anything you can tell me about it?
Thanks!

Yeah, I’m confused about it too, but from what I’ve read on their website, if your parents make under $70k yearly, the UC system will find a way to cover the cost of your expenses for all four years, whether it be through loans, scholarships, grants, etc. I coul dbe misunderstanding it though, clarification about the program would be appreciated.

I thought it was a scholarship.

The Blue and Gold Opportunity program covers your registration fees for the school year if your family income is less that $70,000. This means that no matter what, your registration fees will be covered and any extra aid you get will go towards everything else(housing, transportation, books, etc.).
