the BOOK

last saturday, i finally opened up the College Board blue practice book i've had from the library for the past month and a half...

i took a practice test (number 5 to be exact) and found that i only struggled gettin through the math. i did the math section for tests 2 and 3 and plan on doing at least 2 more. i noticed that my score went up a little each time.

my question is, would this help me on the actual test (saturday)? i'm hoping that it will but i thought that the whole score going up thing was true for the actual test, like you take it three times and each time your score goes up.

just so you all know...i'm no math wiz--i started out getting about 33 correct. i've gone up to about 38. my goal is 45.

Your score goes up as long as you understand EXACTLY why you missed the questions you missed and can do any question like it if you see it again....

absolutely, the more practice from that book the better, expecially with math. My advice is do all the tests (or just the math which you seem concerned with at this point) and make sure you know how to do each and every problem- raised my score over 100 pts from my last practice test --> real sat in may- i just reviewed all the bluebook math problems and bingo
