I'm considering what I should put in that little box. It's very small, which really limits my choices.
Additionally, my dad thinks that applicants must fill the box with their own artworks. I highly doubt this, but I want to ascertain. Furthermore, would it be advantageous for some one who is a fair, but not exceptional, artist (who never alludes to drawing/painting talent otherwise) to fill the box with personal artwork?
I will really appreciate any ideas/advice... thanks guys! :)

It doesn't have to be artwork.

I've heard that the adcoms use this box to help distinguish applications, although I doubt it's make or break for you application.

I know I'm sounding cliche here, but just put something that's "you".

I know people who put tiny collages, a Rubic's cube, drawings, etc. I put a cover of an old passport on mine.

Cool, another Lovetteer!

Why don't I see the box?
Is it on Common App???

it's on their signature page

ok cool :)

I still don't see it though. On their supplement page, you mean?
How would I do it if applying online? I'm completely confused.

i put a smiley face.

DD put a scrap of fabric. DS put a picture of a tennis player. Both got accepted. Don't sweat the box! ;)

I drew an owl winking....and then divided teh diagram into scientific calculations...LOL...talk abt kissin butt

Here is the link for people who cant find:

So will it work if I put a funny picture of me taken at the end of a cross country race where it looks like I'm constipated but really I'm just trying really hard?
