<p>positiveion: You can only sign up for classes during Calso, not before then. Don’t worry too much (there’s no point worrying anyway), I know internationals who couldn’t attend Calso at all (and thus sign up after everyone else) and they got into their classes fine.</p>
<p>cansei: For science/math classes almost everyone uses paper for notes (easier for diagrams/figures) and in humanities it’s about 50/50. I think a laptop is useful for its portability for example if you are working on group projects, meeting up in a study group etc.</p>
