The California Thread

Still nothing in Fremont (SF Bay), which probably means rejection. I can't believe only 2 people got in from Cal (at least from those that posted on CC). I just want to receive my letter tommorow and forget about the whole thing

Am I the first in Southern California? I live in West LA and I got my acceptance today... I'd say everyone still has a shot, so don't give up hope!

Wow, for the past day I've been saying that, "it's ok that people in the Bay Area got their acceptances. California can practically be considered two states with its size." So we now know that So Cal for the acceptances. My attitude = depressed; I haven't been breathing normally for the past 4-5 days.

Congrats rileeki-

You must be ecstatic right now... :)
...or sleeping. I think I'll go do that.
I guess we all find out tomorrow for sure, but more likely than not, we'll be back in three months.

It's been fun. And whatever happens will be for the best.

I'm not applying early, but Cupertino (sorta Bay Area) hasn't received it yet...I don't think so at least.

I can surely speak for my high school, Monta Vista

Although, it has been rumored that a certain someone from Lynbrook High School got her tube...

someone from saratoga got his tube on monday/tuesday.

I haven't heard of anyone in SD getting admitted or getting anything in the mail!

did anyone else actually get his/her deferral letter?

Called Thursday morning. Deferred. Got the letter today.

-Oren

so everyone in southern cali got their letters too?

got my letter today.

Got mine's in the mail today (San Diego). Finding out over the phone on Thursday hurt more. The letter put closure to the EA process, so I felt a little better.
