I love this thread more than anything so glad its back on the home page!!!
This week I got 100 on my summer reading test (it took forever for the teacher to grade) I got a 99 on my Adolfo Miller Spanish 3 Test! Next week is homecoming too im just screaming inside so glad this week is over although i have like 5 tests next week already.

I got a 100 on my math quiz and it somehow brought my grade up three points!

After months of procrastinating, I finally wrote my crappy Common App essay, and someone told me it was “better than average.”

OH YEAH!!!

I FINALLY raised my critical reading score…

@MissSuzyQ Whoa that’s awesome!! Congratulations, I’m sure you’ll bring the publication to new heights! And whether you decided to post again or not, I’m sure this won’t be the last time you feel this happy/excited in your accomplishments! =D>

@Mebehold Thanks so much! I’m so glad you’re finding it worth while :). And great job acing all those test this week, wow, go you! I’m sure the tests next week’ll be no problem! =D>

@ThatPurpleKoala Niiice! Congrats! <:-P <:-P

@DiscipulusBonus Awesome getting over that procrastination! Ha, you deserve a medal for that alone!! OH YEAH in deed. And I’m sure your essay is excellent and “crappy” is underselling it!

@glasshours That’s great!! I find critical reading to be the hardest to raise since it’s the least “studyable,” so mad props to you for the improvement! Congrats! =D>

Back again lol…
Got the third highest score of all kids taking Bio on the first AP Bio test of the year! A 73% =))
Better than my first test grade last year, a 46%!

I found out that we can get a practice PSAT from the college and career center at my school so I went and got it during lunch! Yay, now I can see what a real PSAT is like!

@BPearlman97 Niiice! That’s awesome, regardless of the letter grade! =D>

@dsi411 Yay! Good for you! I applaud your enthusiasm <:-P

@dsi411 - I went today during lunch too LOL (By the way, you can also get a practice SAT pamphlet! Hooray for extra practice tests haha)

4 essays and a MC test later…I have a 99 in AP lang :D

^Nice

I got a 100 on the first AP Bio unit test! It was some crazy studying, and many days of worrying. :)

@tacoperson123 Congrats! I can’t even imagine how hard getting a 100 would be :o

I got a 98 on my Bio test I didn’t study and I still don’t understand a few of the concepts, but I guess I know enough?

Congrats, @tacoperson123 and @LosingCrayon! Sigh, I wish I were doing that well in school. Junior year is kicking my butt, and my teachers basically told us to be happy with grades in the 80s. :(

@glasshours It’s hard to compare grades on CC because each school does it differently I’ve heard of stories where the hardest APs are extremely easy at their schools. At my schools there’s not even extra credit at all for honors or AP, and it’s not uncommon for honors students to have a B. The only reason I got a 98 on the Bio test was because it was all multiple choice though xD

I’m sure you can still get straight A’s though! You just have to believe :3

APUSH test grades just came out and I got a 95 LOL I’m so relieved
Nothing unusual by CC standards, but my teacher’s tests are SO hard…

@LosingCrayon - True, thank you! :)

100 on AP Calc test when I thought I failed!!! :D

Wow you guys have all been rocking it non stop! I can’t even keep up with commentating on your myriad successes! Congrats on all your academic victories!! =; =D>

I took my math midterm and didn’t die OR start crying in the middle of the test! Yay!

Congrats @abstract1 ! That takes a lot!

Somehow I was nominated for Homecoming. LOL. Perks of being one of the only two sophomore girls in Newspaper.

Any overachievers involved with the Homecoming court? It’s quite common at my school to be exceedingly smart/involved AND popular (not me, of course; I am the epitome of a wallflower) so they usually run the field during the Homecoming game half time.
