The Chance Game: Exeter style

So im fairly new to all this prep school stuff but have been lurking CC for a good while now. However much i would like to hope to attend Exeter this fall i feel as if im in the minority of applicants and my chances are low. But thats no reason not to try so feedback on my chances would be appreciated.
Lets start with grades, im in 8th applying for 9th so my school's grading system is simple anything above a 90 is an A
Math-90
ELA-99
Spanish-97
Georgia studies-98
Band-97
Science-97
Journalism-92
Nothing out of the ordinary, but i barley scraped by with an A in math this year. Science Spanish Band and Math are HS credit so that may play a role.
ECs are lacking i would say, nothing outstanding. I do ballet(male), VEX/FLL, Band, and am an avid writer. Im multiracial half African-American-half Caucasian which could possibly help. I love writing so my essays will hopefully be phenomenal. SSAT im taking in February and i dont think ill do terrible on it.

Criticism is welcomed

On exeter’s website it says the following about testing:
“The test results should be in the Admissions Office by January 15 for a March 10 decision.”
Did you comunicate with the admissions office about taking the test in February? What are your EC’s? How do you think your recommendations will be?

preplovr22 yes we have contacted them about the test being taken in February. ECs are mentioned in the OP. I know that the recommendation from my English teacher will be stellar but my math teacher is very apathetic about pretty much everything so that will be up in the air i guess.
