I missed the Bryn Mawr chat, mostly because I am here in California and did not get home from school until it was already over. My classes go to 6:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Can anybody tell me their impression of the school and the people from the discussion? I’m not sure I’ll be able to visit for Open Campus.

I was only there for a minute, but someone (my apologies if they're reading this, I was just amused) said "I'm not sure if my horse is coming with me to college," and I suddenly remembered the "I want a pony!" episode of Seinfeld...er yeah, that wasn't helpful at all, I just thought it was funny.

shanabelle, me too. umm...i hope they do some kind of vaulting sport with the horse or something. otherwise, that's just kind of odd and a tad creepy.

Yeah..it just made me worry a little more about the spoiled-rich-kid stereotype (about all liberal arts colleges, not Bryn Mawr in particular)...but whatever.

HAHA! Was that the only impression? That makes me smile. :):)

I'm trying to go to the Open Campus, but since I'm across the country and my family situation's a bit weird, I'm not sure I'll be able to go. My dad doesn't want me to go alone. How accomodating is Bryn Mawr about having students come later in the month? I might just fly out there later and take a few days off from school.

that's what i'm planning to do to.
