<p>So many people say that this type of essay is too cliche and will not give someone an advantage since many people come from the same background. But from this video...it seems like it's really what they want. Any opinions?</p>

<p>Awesome video! I think the only problem with this type of essay is too generic. Most people have gone through this type of circumstance and they want to go to college. Perhaps, we need show rather than tell what happened in life. We should show what we have done to overcome it. Write about something you have done that's unique to you.</p>
<p>Could you maybe give a timecode so we know what part of the video you are referencing to? Don't really wanna go through all 52 minutes, hehe.</p>
