The co-op factor

Hi. I am majoring in engineering. I looked at lehigh and northeastern. I loved Lehigh and it is is obviously more prestigious. But I loved Northeastern's number one co-op program. I know Lehigh has a co-op program for engineers, can any one comment with experiences? How much should the co-op factor in my decision?

Go with the school you love. Both of them offer co-ops, both of them offer a good education, both will get you started professionally.

The thing is it seems Lehigh co-op is small that it interrupts the social scene. In Northeastern everyone goes on co-op at the same time.

Sounds like you’re leaning towards Northeastern … it is a great school and you can’t go wrong. You’re smart to make sure you will complete some co-ops before you graduate; as a person that used to hire engineers, I know that meaningful co-ops help me find good candidates with experience so that will give you a big advantage.

Well i’m not sure. I’m leaning toward Lehigh. I just want to know more about Lehigh’s co-op.
