The College Experience

One general idea that’s been occurring to me over the past many weeks is the following – I want to make the most of my time here at Yale; however, there are so many events, so many student groups, undergraduate advisory boards, events, classes, professors to get to know, etc. How am I to makes sense of all this? Yes, I will soon begin getting involved in the student groups and events that are specific to the department that I hope to join once I declare a major, but overall I am getting the sense of the immense opportunities that there are within the college experience. As I’m sure you know, in HS, the approach of most high-achieving students in HS is to be involved in as many clubs and the like as possible, but clearly, this isn’t possible in college.

Why don’t you ask your fellow classmates at UPenn since you’re already there? Rather than asking high school students on similar posts across eight Ivy fora?

I’m sure you’d get better advice from real live UPenn upperclassmen than Ivy aspirant high school students.
