<p>The essay about one of your activies has a limit of 150 words. </p>

<p>I wrote mine recently, and I've done everything humanly possible to shorten it to 150 words. Currently, I'm still up at 167 words. </p>

<p>I mean, it's not noticeably too long, and there is truly nothing that I can remove. And it all fits in the box on the common app. Can i just submit it? Will i get automatically rejected or something for going over the limit...?</p>

<p>Most colleges will be okay with 167 words; some schools might put on their website that they absolutely won't accept over 150 words, so make sure.</p>
