650 in French :(

610 chem and 620 math II. I pretty much want to hang myself =P

Darn.

2280 SAT I

690 Lit

730 Math II

690 Physics.

got a 670 in the math I section in march. studied my butt off for several weeks and retook the SAT in june, hoping to break 700 in math.
didn’t happen.
i went up 10 points. 680.
hand me the noose?

720 physics.
Expecting something at least CLOSE to 800.

680 IIC… 540 physics.. omg

should i retake em?
applying to UC’s

thanks..i sort of need to vent about SAT I because nobody other than CCers understand that 2170 is not “omigod Harvard is your safety” good.

My math score is bad-but I figure that’s because I haven’t had a ton of math, and was only in algebra/trig this year b/c of stupid math courses.

BUT what really gets my blood boiling is my writing score. It’s now my lowest of the three-but the thing is: I’m a grammar freak AND I take Latin. In addition, I’ve won essays for writing, yet somehow scored an 8/12?! I think the essay section is so stupid; the second time around I scored two points higher by basically making fun of it. I tried to write the STUPIDEST, most hokey essay, and I did better than when I had a well thought out essay with good literary examples.

@anonperson1: lol, yeah, i read an article about some math prof. doing a study about the essay section and concluding using big vocab words and such boosts scores significantly. what was your SAT total then? I totally agree, though the problem for me is CR. I’m an avid reader (been so my whole life) and for example got an 80 on the PSAT. However, i get like low 700s on the SAT because some of the questions are so ambiguous..argh…

I was mad about my 680 in US. I was happy and then I saw like 50 800s from the people on CC. Oh Well I’m not an Ivy league girl so I think its good enough for me ![]()
640 in Lit. Definitely retaking next year. I was too cocky about this one and thought that my English class was all the prep I needed. Big Mistake!
Don’t get cocky people, learn from me :)

710 on Math II C. I was hoping for at least a 750.

Is it weird that we think getting scores in the 700s is bad?

it is kinda weidr :P

I got a 620 on Math 2 and I’m so embarrassed. Ugh, this score is like a big ugly zit on my application, haha. I wish I was '10 so I could hide it.

670 on Spanish, nggggh. Why does Georgetown have to look at three different scores?
Will probably take another subject test or two to try to make up for that.

At least my other two were 800s :D

740 Math 2
650 Physics

RETAKING BOTH!

P.S. What is a good score for math2 and physics? I am majoring in Sports Management so will this really really hurt me?

780 Chem
800 Math2
800 US History

I was pleasantly surprised by my scores for Chem (ran out of time - omitted the last 6) and math (ran out of time - omitted the last 2). This also makes up for my complete failure on the SAT I essay. :)

Ok so i’m a little mad about my biology score (740), but only because my only goal was to beat my friend (who got a 760).

But all in all, I’m happy with my results. I thought i FAILED world history (like sub-700 fail). but then it ended up that I got a 760!!

And literature… uh yeah need I say more? Obviously I thought since everyone fails it, that I didn’t stand a chance. But I got a 750, which is legit.

so you know, at the end of the day, I’m just glad that I won’t be embarrased to tell anyone my scores.

Math II: 750…Damn..I thought I had 790…

Chem: 700… Pleased..cuz I omitted 10 and got some wrong..I thought I’d get below 700..

Retaking both because I KNOW I can do better..

780 on chem. GRRRR

730 mathII, 720 chem, 690 ush

cries

goodbye, MIT…

Chem 780
USH 780

Runs into corner and cries- I really wanted two more 800s!
At least I got 5s on them in AP.
