Very useful link from another thread with many important Math IIC formulas.

wait and take math II senior

math I wouldn’t be a good idea

would 3 weeks be enough to prepare for the math 2 test? i took ap calc ab last year, but i’m not taking a math class now, so idk if i should spend more time studying or not.

wow thanks for that post. I’m taking the SAT2 next week. I’ve taken precalc, and I’m in calc bc now, but I haven’t started studying yet. Hopefully I can study intensively this week.
and those calculator tricks were really helpful.

can you do your tips/tricks for the ti-89 as well? Thanks. : )

wow, thank you for this post! it was very informative and nice of you :)

Why didn’t I saw this post two weeks earlier? WHY??? screams in agony

thanks a lot!

If there was a way to reward members for excellent posts, I would definitely give you points. I especially like the “Tips and Tricks” section. I’ll let you know what I get in June!

is the Binomial Theorem tested? What about matrices and determinants?

…anyone?

I would not expect the binomial theorem to be tested explicitly: say something like find the coefficient of the x^12 term of (x+y)^36 or anything like that, but it might (but don’t worry about it) be somewhat helpful for polynomial/counting problems. Also, from what I’ve heard, matrices are tested, but rarely (probably no more than 1 question). So if you know the binomial theorem and matrices great, if not don’t worry about them.

What about combinations/permutations/probability?

^ yes, it is very likely that they will appear on the test, but not too many of them. probably less than 8~9 questions combined.

thanks a lot, very helpful.

how much are polar and parametrics tested on the Math IIc?

anyone? TsenChar
