the complete sat and psat strategy guide mike barrett, is it useful

hey i was wandering around google and I came stubbled upon this guide by mike barrett (to find it just google "the complete sat and psat strategy guide" and you should find it.

Im wondering whether you guys have found it helpful or not.

I did not find it to be helpful. I also do not recommend not reading the entire CR passages.

it works well for some people who have trouble with CR. Some call it the best for CR, whereas others find it useless.

Personally i think it’s good. Try it out~

not reading the entire passages is princeton review crap. how are you supposed to answer the questions if you happen to miss the clue/trigger words that lead you to the answers?

Isn’t it just a rehashed version of grammatix?

he IS grammatix. AND he’s now be touted as the SAT expert on Michele Hernandez’s site and the same crap is being sold there for $280.00!!! I asked her if this was the same book that you could by for $50 from acethesat.com and she said yes, except that it has an introduction by her and mimi doe, her partner.
stay away, stay very far away. anyone who advocates not reading a passage in cr is out of his mind.

Is this the same as his new material too?

I really like the discussion of wrong CR answers and the math tips. But I am not so sure about not reading the whole passage. That doesn’t work for me. Also I think vocab is very important for a high score.
