<p>A book a week is about right. But these are not easy readings...particularly in the Contemp Civ course. It is a challenge to get all the reading done WHILE getting all the rest of your course work done. The really tough part is keeping up the energy and getting it done before the class - they aren't lectures recall, socratic method predominates. But its certainly not impossible. I did it. My classmates did it. You all will handle it just fine. Its actually quite enjoyable. Although some of those philosophy works can be a bit dragging - I've read the republic at least three times and the circular reasoning is still dizzying after a while. Still quite fun.</p>
