The Cornell Supplement

It's one of my best essays. But it's bloody 700 words. Cut it down or let it be?

If it's the one with 500 word limit, better cut it down!

I will take a look if you need help deciding what/if to cut down.

I can help you edit it if you look over my CMU essay

I can help you, I just sent all my stuff in!

you have to. I had the same problem like two weeks ago. It was such an agony to see it shed off all the best ideas.

i'll cut it

I'd prefer non '08 applicants ... :)

By the way, I've got it down to 595. Good enough ? :S

What's the limit? If the limit is 500, 700 is a big overboard. Personally, if I was on the admissions board I would rather read a concise informative essay rather than one filled with useless fluff. It's up to you, but I would recommend you cut down.

If you want, I will look and send comments.....

It's 595 now. Anything I cut now will disrupt the flow of the essay :(.

Gosh! This part is worse than writing the bloody thing!
