I didn't really know where else to put this question, so I thought I'd start a thread, plus there will probably be other questions about this application cuz it's a tough one - my biggest question is about the four little lines on the request for an audition date - it tells you to list your AUDITION PIECES. whaaat, that freaks me out - I want to get this application in ASAP because of rolling admissions and I want first dibs on my audition date, but I don't think that I will know my audition pieces that early...if I just put down some possible songs and monologues but ended up changing them would that be okay? Or do they really have to be finalized by the time you turn the application in?

Don't worry! Call and confirm that this is true for THIS year, but we had the same reaction two years ago. When we called, we were given the name of the Audition Coordinator who told us that as long as we submitted the info at least two weeks before my D's scheduled audition, that was fine. I think we filled in that section with something like "still to be decided" or something like that.

But again, I would call to confirm this advice.

Reiterating theatermom, there should be some fine print in the directions about this but last year, we were told as well, that there is no need to fill that in but you need to send the audition material choices at least two weeks ahead of time (my D sent it about three week ahead). She certainly did not know in early Sept. what her choices would be. It does not hurt to call to confirm this because schools change year to year but I truly believe this is likely the same this year.

Yay, thank you!! That information is very helpful (and relieving), I will still call and confirm though. Thanks!
