That was SUCH a good line.

I can\'t belive Heath Ledger succumbed.
I was left in disbelief after my colleague told me.

I really want to see this movie

I saw it earlier today. Heath Ledger was amazing. The ending was so clearly designed to facilitate a sequel.

I heard it was awesome. It is at the top of my list.

I'm surprised they didn't have an "In memory of Heath Ledger" at the beginning of the end credits. Was it at the very end?

^^ they did say that at the end credits
OMFG it was SO good!
heath ledger is THE BEST JOKER! may he RIP.

i just saw it and it was definitely the best movie this year by far. The only thing though was that it was kind of too long. proletariat2 i didnt really see how its ending was designed to facilitate a sequel though, like Batman begins did when at the end they were like "theres this new guy who calls himself the joker"

Also was there anything else during the credits other than In memory of Heath Ledger because i had to leave as soon as it ended

If I ever wore a batman cape, I would never, ever admit it. :D

bleh! save your selves the hassle and go another time. I work in a theatre and i have closed everynight since dark knight has been out (including thursdays midnight premire) it is crazy packed, with loud people and buzzing cell phones, not to mention the lines because everyone wants a good seat but can't possibly sit next to a stranger. its insane. we keep selling out and every time a manager has to go in and request that everyone kinda bunch together so that people can sit with whom they came. sorry for the long rant but seriously, the movie wont change between now and 2 weeks from now, i dont get the big deal of seeing a movie as soon as it comes out

I'm generally skeptical about movies that get overhyped, so here are just some criticisms that i thought of while watching it. There was absolutely NO climax in the entire movie. It was tense the entire time, and there was no real solution or conclusion to anything. The action scenes were hard to follow because the camera was too zoomed in and it seemed that too much film was cut. Also, batman's voice was just horrible.

To anyone who's seen the movie Memento (same director), think of how much better this movie would have been if the whole entire superhero thing had been dropped. I honestly thought the story focused more on the "craziness" of the Joker than on batman himself, so I think it's realistic to say that attaching the Batman franchise to this movie was not required. I think it held the movie back from being truly one of the greats in history.

Yeah, it's a great movie, but not one of the greatest. Certainly it's the best superhero movie made in the past 2 decades, but that's like saying it's the smartest kid with down syndrome. Oh well, enjoy the movie.

Obey, I somewhat agree. It was excellent, but there was no climax. I thought that the Rachel/Dent subplot made the movie worse. It was very long, but with that story going on and then the Joker/Batman one, the characters were stretched too thin and the movie lost a little bit of focus. They could have opted to make it two movies, with a cliffhanger at the end of this one. It was near-perfect in my opinion, but it felt...incomplete in some way. That being said, Ledger was brilliant. He was actually perfect.

That was like the perfect movie. I went at a 12:30 PM show hoping for it not to be packed, but it was lol. There couldn't be a better Joker!! Couldn't be more satisfied!!

It was good. Although I was feeling especially confused that day and didn't understand half of it. But I liked it :)

it wasn't really that good. The subplot with Rachel totally sucked. But the Joker was absolutely great.

The one thing I didn't really enjoy about the movie was the subplot with the Chinese corporate crime boss, but I guess he was necessary to tie all the villains together.

midnight showing IMAX. this is no doubt the best. just broke spidey 3's record. niiiiiiiiice. rachel wasn't meant to be an important part of this one. it was all internal conflict and harvey dent was a sick character .... that was a great job. the joker was intense. um. wait. sequel?

lol, at the theater, arrived 3 hours early and they were sold out!!! D:
have to watch the 7:00 show now...

okay...two-face was DISTURBING.. >_>

that 12:00 scene was really intense.
