the direct hits books, does any have them?

i want to buy them but amazon just wants too much money for the shipping. does anyone has the books and would like to give them away or sale them up?

also if anyone know of any vocab apps or programs for my macbook then please let me know (and if you know of any free ones even better).

Buy two of them, (DH and DH toubhest vocab) add another small book you can get free shipping.

I would recommend Hot Words for the SAT from Barrons because it groups synonyms together. Or you could buy Gruber’s Complete SAT Guide which helps for all 3 sections, comes with 10 practice tests, and 3500 SAT words. There is also a section on roots, prefixes, and suffixes. BTW its less than 10 dollars for shipping you might as well buy like 2 other books for AP or something.

The direct hits books are good, certainly, so you may still want to consider them. I like a website called word-nerd.com, so you might consider that if you’re looking for a computer based option (it’s got a ton more words than direct hits). Good luck!

i live in israel so no free shipping for me :-/

so i’m still asking does anyone has these books (or know someone who does) and is interested in selling, giving away or maybe even swapping? i have some SAT and Toefl IBT books i’m willing to swap,

I’m working on it for you.

oh wow cool thank you.
do you know of any apps for mac?

I just sent you a PM.

I have been using a website called CFNC for my vocab prep, it’s free, and the vocabulary seems pretty legit for the SAT. It also has other free prep on there too, I think it’s pretty useful. Just google the CFNC and register for an account.
