The dreaded junior year grade drop

Ok SO, sophomore and freshmen years I had good grades. 3.89 freshman, 3.95 sophomore. A mix of honors, regular, and AP classes.

This year, I'm taking a full AP/honors course load and am struggling to maintain my 3.5. Let's say I get an overall GPA of 3.5 for the rest of this year, how will it affect my college admissions? Has anyone else had this drop? Junior year will be the death of me, I think..

I think I’m experiencing the same thing but on a different scale.

Freshman year: 3.9 (W 4.5)
Sophomore year: 3.74 (W 4.74) (took on 9 classes when I was only supposed to take 8: 4 APs and 5 honors basically I was too dumb to handle it all)
Junior year: 3.8 predicted (W 4.9)

oh well. I think we can just do the best we can…

fresh: 4.0 so far.

Yep thats all I got

My grades are actually going up and I’m taking much harder classes this year (4 APs)

freshman: 2.7
sophomore: 3.5
junior: 3.6/3.8

I don’t know why but I took really easy classes my junior year and my transcript looked really good when it was sent out to colleges.
