The duke id (self service portal)

Applied ED and still haven't got it.

However, Duke has sent me several emails that confirm the receipt of my app.
One of them was also about how my app was "incomplete" but i clarified that.

Anyway, on 12th November they did say that the id will be sent "soon". How long should i wait before i start panicking?

That’s strange…I got my ID 3 or 4 days after applying.

ikr!

I submitted the app along with the writing supplement on November 3 and common app says that it was downloaded on the 4th.

i sent them an email with a casual reference regarding this on the 20th, but am yet to receive a response.

Phone calls can be more effective than emails - politely insist on speaking with someone and don’t just leave a voice message.

And be patient - they are busy this time of year, especially with a week’s delay due to the Common App issues.

Have you checked the spam folders of your inbox?

rmldad - I’m not in the USA so the long distance call is kinnda an issue

Purpleacorn - yup i did. nothing!

i guess i’ll wait another week before i actively start emailing the admissions office again.

is it possible that my app already got “rejected” by the regional officer, since they can do that due to the new system duke uses… that would be very unfortunate…

Email the regional officer and check in, then. The office is probably SWAMPED at this point.

I ended up using the “resend” feature on their site to send myself the activation email!

now my financial aid app is shown as “incomplete” i guess i’ll wait till the 2nd to clarify that…

many thanks for everyone’s comments!
