The Dumbest Question Ever!

I know this must be really dumb to some of you, but are Wellesley and Wesleyan related in any way? I've been wondering.

woah...you are 13, and you are on College confidential. That's frightening.

no, not related

You appear to be 14... you two could be 2 days apart in age...:)

No connection - they just sound similar. Wellesley is an all-female school outside of Boston. Wesleyan is in Middletown, CT and used to be all-male.

intelliot..thats hoo's post count not his age :-)

Hahahahaha.

I'm a junior and I advise you to stay off CC until your a senior..no joke..

actually i really just used it to see what people had to say about preppy high schools (hence the name andovergirlsomeday for Phillips Andover Academy)

At least wait until you're a sophomore to help you with course selection decisions and SATs...

Your question isn't that dumb. What's dumb is being so concerned that you are already using this website. Just kidding, kind of. But seriously, come back like half a decade from now.

andovergirlsomeday,
You are looking in the wrong section. The stuffs you are interested in are categorized under Pre-College Issue: High School Life.

Since you are interested in Philips Andover, you may wanna take a look at the discussion topic "7 Prep Schools, Ivy League" in the old CC board, under:

College Discussion Forum: High School Life and Pre-college Issues: June - August 2003 Archive: 7 Prep Schools, Ivy League
<a href="http://www.collegeconfidential.com/cgi-bin/discus/show.cgi?5/1110%5B/url%5D">http://www.collegeconfidential.com/cgi-bin/discus/show.cgi?5/1110</a></p>

The first post started out like this:
"I was just looking for some people's opinions on an interesting subject. There is a well-known group of seven boarding schools in the northeast: Choate, Andover, Exeter, Deerfield, Hotchkiss, Lawrenceville and St. Paul's. They are widely considered the best prep schools in the country. I was wondering how people would equate the schools individually to the schools in the Ivy League (Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Dartmouth, Columbia, Cornell, Brown and UPenn.) For example, I'm looking for a person to give their views on Andover being like Harvard, or Choate like a Columbia (just examples, people who post should make their own connections.)"

lol... I need some sleep
